Welcome to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church

Nestled in the quiet beauty of Springbrook, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church has stood as a fieldstone witness to faith since 1917. Born from a decade of homegrown worship and neighborly spirit, our church was lovingly built by the community, using stone and timber from the surrounding land. Though the village has changed, our congregation remains a vibrant, welcoming presence. Rooted in tradition and alive with purpose, we gather to worship, serve, and share God’s love with all who enter.

All are welcome to take part in our traditional Episcopal liturgy and the enduring community spirit of St. Luke’s. Whether you’re just visiting or seeking a church home, there’s a place for you here.

At St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, we believe faith takes root when it’s shared. In a village that has changed over time, our commitment to one another—and to the wider world—remains steady. We live out God’s love through worship, fellowship, and meaningful service that honors both tradition and the needs of today. Our ministries reflect a deep call to presence, compassion, and action, including:

Rooted in peace.
Built for action.

At St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Spooner, we follow the example of our patron, St. Alban—a courageous witness of faith who gave shelter to the vulnerable and stood for truth, even at great cost.

We believe faith is not just something you believe, but something you do. That’s why we gather not only for worship, but to serve our neighbors, feed the hungry, offer warmth and welcome, and care for creation.

Grounded in the Episcopal tradition and open to all, we are a small church with a big heart—committed to peace, justice, and love in motion.

Come walk the way with us.

Part of Something Bigger
St. Luke’s in Springbrook is proud to be one of four congregations that make up the Northern Highlands Benefice — a collaborative ministry of Episcopal churches across northwestern Wisconsin. Alongside Grace in Rice Lake, St. Alban’s in Spooner, and Ascension in Hayward, we share clergy, worship rhythms, and a commitment to building faithful, connected communities in rural spaces. Each church keeps its own heart and heritage, but together we support one another in serving, learning, and growing — from Spooner to the Northwoods and beyond.
